Slack Integration

Laritor lets you connect your Slack workspace to receive alerts directly in your Slack channels. This helps your team stay informed in real time whenever performance issues, failures, or anomalies occur in your application.

  1. Go to Team Settings

    • Click your profile name in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
    • Select Team Settings from the dropdown.
  2. Start Slack Integration

    • In the Integrations section of the Team Settings page, find the Slack card.
    • Click the Integrate Slack button.
  3. Authorize Laritor

    • You will be redirected to Slack to authorize access.
    • Choose your workspace and allow Laritor to post messages.
  4. Return to Laritor

    • Once authorization is complete, you will be redirected back to the Team Settings page.
    • If successful, you’ll see a confirmation message: ✅ Slack integrated successfully

Once Slack is integrated with your team, you can start sending alerts to your Slack channels.

  1. Go to Alerts

    • Click on Alerts in the left navigation menu.
    • Click the Create Alert button.
  2. Enable Slack

    • On the alert creation form, toggle the Slack option under “Notification Channels.”
  3. Select Channel

    • After enabling the toggle, a dropdown will appear listing all available Slack channels.
    • Choose the channel where you’d like to send the alert.
  4. Save the Alert

    • Configure your trigger conditions and save the alert.
    • Laritor will now send alerts to the selected Slack channel when those conditions are met.
  • Laritor only requests permissions to post messages in your Slack channels.
  • You can disconnect or reauthorize Slack at any time via Team Settings > Integrations.
  • You can set up different Slack channels per alert to route notifications based on environment, application, or severity.
