Linear

Laritor lets you connect your Linear workspace so alerts can create Linear issues automatically. This helps your team turn production problems into tracked work, and optionally assign those issues to a Linear project.

  1. Open Settings

    • Click your profile dropdown in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
    • Select Settings from the dropdown.
  2. Start Linear Integration

    • On the Settings page, go to the Integrations section.
    • Click the Integrate Linear button.
  3. Authorize Laritor

    • You will be redirected to the Linear authorization screen.
    • Sign in to Linear if needed.
    • Authorize Laritor to access your Linear workspace.
  4. Return to Laritor

    • Once authorization is complete, you will be redirected back to the Settings page.
    • If successful, you’ll see a confirmation message: ✅ Linear integrated successfully

Once Linear is integrated, you can choose where Laritor should create Linear issues from the Alerts page.

  1. Go to Alerts

    • Click Alerts in the main navigation menu.
  2. Choose Your Team or Workspace Destination

    • Under Alerts, select the Linear destination where you want Laritor to create issues.
  3. Optionally Assign Issues to a Project

    • You can optionally choose a Linear project for the issues Laritor creates.
  4. Set a Default or Environment-Specific Configuration

    • You can choose a default Linear destination for all environments.
    • You can also override the destination or project for specific environments when needed.
  5. Save Your Alert Configuration

    • Save your alert settings after selecting the appropriate Linear destination and optional project.
    • Laritor will create Linear issues using the default configuration or the environment-specific override you configured.
  • Laritor only requests the permissions needed to create Linear issues in your connected workspace.
  • You can disconnect or reauthorize Linear at any time via Settings > Integrations.
  • You can use one default issue destination for all environments and override the destination or project for specific environments when needed.
