Account Creation
To start using Laritor, you must create an account by visiting the signup page and providing your team and user information. During signup, you’ll also select a region where your data will be hosted. Because Laritor is a multi-region service, you cannot change your region after account creation. Choosing the region closest to you helps minimize latency and ensures compliance with local data storage regulations.

2. Post-Registration: Teams & Users
Section titled “2. Post-Registration: Teams & Users”After creating your Laritor account, you are automatically assigned to the team you specified. Within Laritor:
-
Create or Join Additional Teams
-
You can create any number of teams (for different projects or departments).
-
You can also join other existing teams if invited.
-
Invite Users
-
Each team can invite an unlimited number of users at no additional cost.
-
Invited users receive an email to accept and set up their access credentials.
-
Team members share access to any dashboards, charts, alerts, or reports within that team’s workspace.
Tip: Organize teams around specific applications or business units to keep metrics and dashboards scoped appropriately.
3. Why Choose a Region
Section titled “3. Why Choose a Region”- Performance: Hosting in a data center close to your servers or users reduces network latency for metric ingestion and dashboard queries.
- Compliance: Certain industries or jurisdictions require data to remain within a specific geographic boundary. Selecting the correct region ensures Laritor stores your data in the proper location.
- Reliability: Each region operates independently; choosing your nearest region provides the best resilience and redundancy for your locale.
4. Completing Verification
Section titled “4. Completing Verification”- Laritor will send a confirmation email to the address you provided.
- Click the verification link in that email to confirm your account.
- Log in to Laritor with your email and password. Your dashboard and all subsequent data ingestion will be tied to the region you selected.
Important: If you need to switch regions later—for example, due to organizational changes or new compliance requirements—you must create a separate account in the desired region. Historical data does not transfer automatically between regions.
5. Troubleshooting & Support
Section titled “5. Troubleshooting & Support”- Region Dropdown Is Disabled: Ensure your browser’s cookies and JavaScript are enabled. If the region selector still doesn’t appear, contact Laritor support.
- Incorrect Region Chosen: Since regions cannot be changed after signup, register a new account in the correct region. You can then invite your existing team to that account. Historical metric data cannot be migrated between regions.
- Signup Errors: Follow on-screen validation messages (e.g., password requirements, email format). If issues persist, reach out to support at [email protected].
By following these steps—providing team and user details, selecting the appropriate region, verifying your email, and setting up teams—you’ll be ready to start monitoring your applications with Laritor in the region that best meets your performance and compliance needs, and collaborate with your entire team at no extra cost.
